Wow, you're 4 already and you were so excited for this day to arrive. I think you talked about it for weeks before your birthday. I guess being 4 just made you feel so much older. You loved all the attention being the birthday boy brought you on your special day. We went out to dinner at the Japanese Steakhouse with Mimi and Papa. FUN! You loved how everyone sang to you. Later we came back to the house for a special cake made by Lori. We had a small family celebration and plan to celebrate even more at Disney in a few weeks.
This last year has shown lots of changes in you. You're definitely starting to be a rough and tough boy. It's taking a little getting use to as I still remember that sweet and gentle child. However, your personality is really shining. You are so silly and love to make people laugh. It's also neat to see you with everyone you meet. Not sure you even understand the difference between friends and strangers as you treat everyone so special. And the questions....you ask a million of them but I realize this is how you're learning so much. Not much time goes by without Drew saying something :)
You are going to school full time now in the pre-school program. You are learning so much. You are getting better with your letters and numbers. It's been neat to see you starting to soak up so much. You still enjoy Handy Manny, Matchbox cars and playing video games. You love spending time on the new swing set in our back yard. You also have a great time at your weekly gymnastics class. I'm guessing by next year you'll have joined a soccer team.
I'm so lucky to be your Mommy and thank God every day we found each other. I will never get tired of Mommy and Drew time, sweet kisses and hugs and reading books together. You will always be my little Drewster.
Love,
Mommy
