Why I Started This Blog.....

I wanted a place to visit where I could share all my feelings about our Russian adoption process. I know there will be times when I'm feeling down and times when I'm extremely excited so this will be a place where I can go anytime and share. Trust me, my husband will appreciate the fact I'm not waking him up to talk! We all know there's really only one thing we're allowed to wake them up for and there's not a whole lot of talking involved! As you can see....the blog as evolved into a collection of letters to my precious children. I hope they treasure these letters and enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed writing them.

I am from the Atlanta, GA area and was born in 1972. My husband (married since 7/97) and I have 2 adorable daughters and a very cute son. Our son was adopted from St. Petersburg, Russia and many of our adventures with the adoption have been captured in this blog.
